From Duffy's in DC

From Northern Virginia

  • Take 395 North across the 14th Street Bridge.

  • Bear RIGHT after you cross the bridge, following the signs for 395N.

  • Take the exit for 395N/D Street/U.S. Senate; be in the RIGHT lane.

  • Go under an overpass, DO NOT take the exit for C Street.

  • Go through two tunnels; this will dead-end onto New York Avenue.

  • Take a RIGHT onto New York Avenue.

  • Go about 2.5 miles and take a left onto Bladensburg Road.

  • Go about 1.5 miles and take a RIGHT on 38th Avenue.

  • Just before 38th, you will pass a cemetery on your right -- slow down, because 38th Avenue comes up quickly.

  • If you miss it, you can take a right into the shopping center and back track past the IHOP to 38th Avenue.

  • Follow 38th Avenue for about 100 yards and then you will see the park entrance on the RIGHT.

  • Drive into the park, past a soccer field, up a hill and take your first right.

  • Park in the parking lot by the softball fields.

  • Walk up the hill, look to the right and you will see the goal posts.

From the North

  • Take 95 South toward DC.

  • When you reach the Beltway (Route 495), bear to the left, following the signs to Alexandria (This should be for 95 South and 495 East/South).

  • Take the Beltway (Route 495/95) three exits.

  • At Exit 22 get on Route 295 South (also called the Baltimore-Washington Parkway).

  • Stay on 295 South for about 5 miles. You will reach an interchange with Route 50; you want to get on Route 50 West.

  • To get on 50 West, bear to the right, following signs for Route 50 West and/or New York Ave.

  • Go about 1 mile and take the exit for South Dakota Avenue (it only goes one way).

  • In less than a mile, take a right onto Bladensburg Road.

  • In about a mile, take a right onto 38 Avenue. (Just before 38th Avenue you will pass a cemetery on your right; slow down because 38th Ave comes up quickly!)

  • Follow 38th Ave for about 100 yards and you will see the park entrance on the right.

From the South

  • Take 95 North toward DC.

  • When you reach the Beltway (495) follow the signs to Baltimore (This should be for 95N and maybe 495E).

  • Take the Beltway (Route 495/95) across the Woodrow Wilson Bridge into Maryland.

  • After you cross the bridge, take Route 295 North.

  • Stay on 295 North for about 10 miles.

  • You will reach a big interchange with 295N, the Baltimore-Washington Parkway, Kenilworth Avenue, and Rte 50: You want to get on Rte 50 WEST.

  • To get on 50W, continue going straight past the first major exits, [i.e., don't bear left (the BW Parkway) or right (Route 50E)].

  • Take the exit for 50W.

  • Go about 1 mile and take the exit for South Dakota Avenue (It only goes one way).
